A space I created for photographers to just take a damn breath! To step away from the grind and remember what it feels like to create without all the noise. To feel inspired again—and actually have FUN while growing in your business.
Hands-on learning, REAL connection, adventure, wild shoots, and that feeling of, “holy sh*t, I needed this.”
I seriously can’t wait to meet you, hear your story and become great friends!!
-Melissa
Join us in the Insanely beautiful heart of Peru—where the vibrant streets of Cusco and the stunning views of Sacred Valley set the stage for your most inspired work yet! (And we may just run into a FEW Llamas along the way)
Every single shoot on this trip is planned with intention. These aren’t just quick content grabs—they’re storytelling moments designed to look and feel like real multi-day elopements. From quiet getting-ready vibes to wild landscapes and playful in-between moments, you’ll be building out a full, scroll-stopping portfolio that actually shows the kind of work you want to be doing.
If you’re ready to book those fun, adventurous, hell-yes couples—this is how you get there.
And honestly? It’s not just about the photos. You’ll get to try new ideas, experiment with different styles, shoot in unreal locations, and just have fun with it. No pressure. No clients. Just space to create, explore, and actually enjoy what you do again.
We’ll kick off with our first shoot right in the city—early morning light, no crowds, just us and Cusco waking up. Think stone streets, bold textures, and REAL moments. It’s a solid way to start strong and shoot without distractions. And after the shoot? We’re diving into the city—local markets, street food, and time to explore. You’ll be hyped and hungry, trust me.
This one’s wild—in the best way. We’ll head just outside Cusco for a true Peru moment: Walking through the hills with llamas (yes, your own llama buddy), stopping at a beautiful viewpoint to shoot our second couple with all the llamas in tow. Meanwhile, the rest of the group dives into traditional Peruvian weaving and culture—then we swap. It’s part shoot, part adventure, part cultural deep-dive. You’re gonna talk about this one for years!
This spot is unreal. Set deep in the Sacred Valley, Tiobamba gives us historic architecture, wide open space, and mountain views that feel endless. It’s calm, open, and totally different from anything else we’ll shoot. And the best part? We’ll break for an included group lunch overlooking the whole valley. Insane views, good food, and a chance to just chill together in the middle of it all.
After Tiobamba, we head to one of the most breathtaking spots of the trip. Think stunning mountain views, A-frame cabins, Peruvian colors, ponchos, and a shit ton of llamas. We’ll spend the rest of the day shooting, hanging, and soaking it all in—then wrap with dinner together at their on-site restaurant.
Seriously, I can’t even explain this place—go check out their Instagram. It’s unreal.
So—you just wrapped up five wild days in Cusco, created some of your favorite work ever, and you’re thinking... I’m not ready to go home yet. Same.
Let’s be honest—Peru is way too far to fly for just five days. That’s why we’re keeping the adventure going with an exclusive three-day, two-night extension in Lima. New vibes, new views, more shoots, more food, and a totally different side of Peru you have to experience.
This one's only available to those who book the main Cusco retreat—and trust me, it’s going to be one for the books. Let’s keep it going. You in?
We’re taking storytelling to the next level. The couple we’ll be shooting at the Mountain View Experience in Cusco? They’re not done yet. They’re taking their story—and their elopement—to Lima.
We’re turning this into a multi-day, two-location elopement session that ties everything together. From the laid-back couples shoot in the mountains to the full elopement celebration by the coast, this is what next-level storytelling looks like. Real connection, real moments, and a serious portfolio upgrade.
Our first stop? The cliffs of Paracas—where our couple will say their “I do’s” overlooking the ocean from one of the most dramatic spots in Peru. Think intimate, romantic, and wildly adventurous. This location is raw, real, and absolutely unforgettable. You're gonna lose it when you see the view.
This spot is absolutely insane—I knew I couldn’t leave Peru without shooting here. After our Lima couple says their vows on the cliffs of Paracas, we’re heading straight into the ultimate elopement adventure: Huacachina.
We’re talking sand dunes, iconic photos and a wild adventure! Our couple will be running through the dunes, sandboarding, and jumping on ATVs for the kind of shoot that feels more like a movie. This is not your average elopement—and it’s definitely not one you want to miss.
Once we’ve wrapped up shooting that epic elopement story, it’s our turn to jump into the fun. We’re heading straight into the dunes for a full-on adventure—Sandboarding, ATVing, and soaking up every wild second in Huacachina.
It’s fast, it’s loud, it’s sandy as hell—and it’s the kind of adrenaline rush that makes this trip unforgettable!
After traveling from Cusco to Lima, we’ll take our private transfer to the Airbnb, get settled, and head out for dinner together to kick things off. During our full-day shoot and excursion, we will have a group lunch provided—because we’re not running on empty while chasing sand dunes. The rest of the time, you’ll have space to explore and grab whatever you’re craving.
Once again—we’ve got you covered. You’ll have private transportation from the airport to our Airbnb, back to the airport when it’s time to head home, and everything in between. That includes all travel during our full-day shoot and excursion. No stress, no scrambling—just show up and enjoy the ride. We’ve Got the Ride Covered

Let’s go create, explore, connect, and grow—in one of the most inspiring places on earth. Peru is waiting… and so are we.

I’ve been where you are—and that’s why I built this retreat differently. From day one, you’re not just attending—you’re part of a creative family. I’ll be right there with you: guiding shoots, offering hands-on feedback, and cheering you on as you grow.
This isn’t about just taking pretty photos. It’s about pushing your craft, gaining real confidence, and leaving with purpose, passion, and lasting connections.
Yes, 100%! This retreat is for photographers of all levels. Whether you’re just getting started or looking to grow your creative voice, you’ll be supported every step of the way. We’ll guide you through shoots, offer hands-on help, and create a space where questions are always welcome.
If you’re passionate about learning, exploring, and creating—this retreat is definitely for you.
Yes! We’ll invite you to a private group chat where you can connect and get hyped together.
For the best experience and group transportation, we recommend staying with the group to fully immerse in the retreat. However, if you have special circumstances, reach out and we’ll chat about what’s possible.
We keep things intentionally intimate by offering a limited number of tickets. This allows for a more personal, impactful experience—no fighting for angles or feeling lost in the crowd. We often break into smaller groups and rotate through locations, so even if we don’t have two couples at every shoot, we make sure everyone gets the time and space they need to create. You’ll have the freedom to direct, pose, and shoot with intention—and walk away with work you’re proud of.
Yes—for this retreat, there will be shared beds with some individual bunk beds as well. We’ll set up a private group chat ahead of time so you can connect with other attendees, get to know each other, and coordinate any preferences. If you’re coming with a friend or spouse, just let me know—I’ll make sure you’re paired together.
Yes! As long as your spouse is also attending the retreat as a paying participant, they’re more than welcome to join. This experience is designed for creatives, so if they’re a photographer or just excited to be part of the adventure, they’ll fit right in. Be sure to mention it when you sign up so we can pair you two together for rooming and shoots!
You’ll need to book your international flight into Jorge Chávez International Airport (LIM) in Lima, Peru, and then catch a short domestic flight to Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport (CUZ) in Cusco.
Once you arrive in Cusco, we’ve got you covered—a private transfer will be waiting to bring you to our retreat stay in the Sacred Valley. Just send us your flight details, and we’ll take care of the rest!
We’ve got transportation covered from start to finish. Private transfers are booked for the entire retreat to keep things smooth and stress-free. Just send us your flight details, and we’ll make sure a private driver is waiting to pick you up at the Cusco airport and bring you straight to our Airbnb. From there, all retreat travel is taken care of so you can focus fully on creating, connecting, and soaking it all in.
Most travelers don’t need a visa for short stays in Peru, but a valid passport with at least 6 months left before expiration is required. Always double-check entry requirements for your country before booking.
Yes! We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and baggage delays. Peru has high altitudes and unpredictable weather—it’s best to be protected just in case.
Peru uses the Sol (PEN). Cash is great for small markets and tipping, but credit cards are widely accepted in cities. I recommend bringing a little cash and using ATMs once you arrive for the best exchange rate.
You don’t need to be an experienced hiker—just a moderate level of fitness is perfect! The only hike on this retreat is our Machu Picchu day, and it’s considered a moderate trek. We’ll move at a relaxed pace, with plenty of breaks (and photo ops!) along the way.
Altitude is definitely something to be mindful of—but don’t worry, we’ve got you! Our itinerary is intentionally designed to help you adjust. We begin in the Sacred Valley, which is lower in elevation than Cusco, so your body has time to acclimate before we head to Machu Picchu. We’ll also share tips to help you feel your best and support you throughout the entire trip.
Expect mild, sunny days and chilly nights. It’s the start of the dry season, so rain is unlikely but temps can shift fast—layers are key!
Don’t worry—I’ll send out a what-to-pack guide before the retreat so you’re totally prepped.
Yes, but with some important limitations. Small DSLRs and mirrorless cameras are generally allowed for personal use. However, tripods, drones, lighting gear, and any equipment that looks “professional” may not be permitted without special permission or permits.
To avoid issues, we recommend keeping your gear as low-profile as possible. We’ll give you specific tips before the visit so you can capture the magic without stress.
Respect for the land is non-negotiable. We follow Leave No Trace principles on every shoot and hike. You’ll be briefed on how we minimize impact and work with local guides who deeply know and protect these sacred spaces.
If spots are open, go ahead and apply to join the retreat. If it’s sold out, don’t worry—you can add your name to the waitlist. Once you’re accepted, you’ll get an email with your contract and first payment invoice. To officially lock in your spot, both must be completed within 24 hours.
I’ll review your application. Once you’re accepted, you’ll receive a “YOU’VE BEEN ACCEPTED!” email with your contract and the first payment invoice. Once your contract is signed and your invoice is paid—YOU’RE IN! That officially secures your spot.
As the retreat approaches, you’ll be added to a private group chat with other attendees so you can connect, coordinate travel, and get excited together!
Whether you’re feeling stuck or simply ready for what’s next—this retreat is for you. Because no matter where you are on your journey, there is always room to grow—as a photographer, as a business owner, and as a human. Growth doesn’t require burnout. It just requires space—space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what you truly want.
This isn’t about chasing more. It’s about creating with purpose, building genuine connections, and walking away with clarity that will carry you far beyond Peru. You’ll leave with a stronger portfolio, a deeper sense of direction, and real friendships with people who understand your creative world.
Are you ready to level up your business and your mindset—with a community that makes you feel seen, supported, and so damn inspired?
DON’T JUST TAKE IT FROM ME. . . this will be an amazing experience!
The photographers who’ve come on my retreats didn’t just leave with insane photos—they left with REAL friendships, incredible memories, and stories we still laugh about. That’s what I care about most.
My people come first, always. I’m not here to just host a retreat—I’m here to make sure you feel welcome, supported, and like you’re actually part of something.
LET THIS BE THE START OF YOUR STORY!
