For the best experience and group transportation, we recommend staying with the group to fully immerse in the retreat. However, if you have special circumstances, reach out and we’ll chat about what’s possible.

We keep things intentionally intimate by offering a limited number of tickets. This allows for a more personal, impactful experience. No fighting for angles or feeling lost in the crowd. We often break into smaller groups and rotate through locations, so even if we don’t have two couples at every shoot, we make sure everyone gets the time and space they need to create. You’ll have the freedom to direct, pose, and shoot with intention, and walk away with work you’re proud of.

Yes, for this retreat, there will be shared beds with two individual beds up for grabs. We’ll set up a private group chat ahead of time so you can connect with other attendees, get to know each other, and coordinate any preferences. If you’re coming with a friend or spouse, just let me know, I’ll make sure you’re paired together.

Yes! As long as your spouse is also attending the retreat as a paying participant, they’re more than welcome to join. This experience is designed for creatives, so if they’re a photographer or just excited to be part of the adventure, they’ll fit right in. Be sure to mention it when you sign up so we can pair you two together for private rooming and shoots!

You’ll need to book your international flight into Calgary International Airport.

For the duration of the retreat, we've got you covered! If you plan any photo sessions outside of the retreat, yes you will need one. 

Yes! We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and baggage delays. 

Expect mild, sunny days and possible chilly nights. It’s the start of the summer for June, so snow is unlikely but temps can shift fast. For August you can expect sunny days and slightly chilly evenings. For Moraine lake you will want to dress in layers!

Don’t worry, I’ll send out a what-to-pack guide before the retreat so you’re totally prepped.

No, drones are not allowed in the National Park!

Respect for the land is non-negotiable. We follow Leave No Trace principles on every shoot and hike. You’ll be briefed on how we minimize impact and work with local guides who deeply know and protect these sacred spaces.

If spots are open, go ahead and apply to join the retreat. If it’s sold out, don’t worry, you can add your name to the waitlist. Once you’re accepted, you’ll get an email with your contract and first payment invoice. To officially lock in your spot, both must be completed within 24 hours.

I’ll review your application. Once you’re accepted, you’ll receive a “YOU’VE BEEN ACCEPTED!” email with your contract and the first payment invoice. Once your contract is signed and your invoice is paid...YOU’RE IN! That officially secures your spot.
